Qigong Training

You can heal yourself by practicing Qigong

Qigong helps you to heal yourself by doing slow, conscious movements, using visualization and meditation. Qigong has withstood the test of time and has been practiced in China for thousands of years. It is practiced both as a martial art and for the medical benefit. It teaches you to connect to your body and to move consciously to collect, concentrate and manipulate your life force energy (Qi). It’s fun and easy to learn!

Imagine starting each day full of energy and vitality and ending the day peacefully and without stress.  That is what it is like when you commit to a daily Qigong practice.  With just a little commitment to your own internal energy, you will see what the power of Qi (chi) can do for you.  With the costs of healthcare today, it’s wonderful to know that we have resources to heal our own body and take charge of our health.

There are many different types of Qigong but I primary teach  Spring Forest Qigong  and Eight Silk Brocade.    I include warm up exercises and some easy TaiChi.   We usually complete the class with a meditation.  Classes are approximately an hour.  Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes and light weight sneakers.   A yoga mat is not needed.
